Prime Gaming October 2026 Free Games Include Doom Eternal, BioShock Remastered, and 26 More

As a regular player, I am always checking what my subscriptions actually give me beyond the obvious perks. With Amazon Prime, most people think about faster shipping and streaming, but the free games are the real hidden bonus. October 2026 is shaping up to be one of the best months I have seen in a long time. Prime Gaming is offering 28 titles, and the first batch is already available to claim right now.

I have to admit, I did not expect Doom Eternal to headline the lineup. The game originally launched a few years ago, and with Doom: The Dark Ages having arrived in 2025, this feels like a very deliberate way to pull players back into the series. I cannot imagine that is an accident. It gives newcomers a chance to experience one of the most intense shooters ever made before they move on to the newer chapter.

The first drop on October 10 includes 12 games in total. BioShock Remastered is another massive addition. I still do not know exactly why the first BioShock is included, unless that long-rumored Netflix adaptation is finally gaining momentum. It has been quiet on that front for a while, but getting the original game in front of more players certainly does not hurt. Tomb Raider: Legend is also in the first wave, and it remains a fantastic action-adventure title. Spirit of the North is one of my personal favorites because of its quiet, emotional journey through a beautiful landscape.

Other games in the first batch include Hive Jump 2: Survivors, SCARF, The Eternal Cylinder, No Straight Roads, DreadOut 2, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition, Priest Simulator: Vampire Show, and The Gap. That is a surprisingly varied mix of horror, rhythm action, survival, and puzzle experiences. I appreciate that Prime Gaming does not just throw in filler; there is usually something interesting for everyone.

The October 17 wave adds five more games. Killing Floor 2 is the standout for me, especially since its sequel has already launched and the co-op shooter community is still active. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol offers a heavy dose of retro nostalgia, while Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets gives puzzle fans something to dig into. Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness and Through the Darkest of Times round out that group with very different tones.

Then on October 24, another six titles arrive. Gargoyles Remastered is a treat for anyone who grew up with the animated series. Monster Train is a clever deck-building roguelike that can eat hours of your life if you are not careful. Pumpkin Jack and The Gunk are both visually charming action games, and Stasis: Bone Totem along with Morbid: The Seven Acolytes add even more dark, atmospheric variety.

The final drop on October 31 is perfect for Halloween. Scorn and A Plague Tale: Innocence are the big names, and both are unsettling in completely different ways. Scorn leans into surreal body horror, while A Plague Tale: Innocence uses swarms of rats and a grim medieval setting to create constant tension. Death's Door is an excellent soulslike with a surprisingly heartfelt story, and Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare delivers hidden-object horror. Coromon wraps things up with a monster-taming RPG that should appeal to anyone looking for a more relaxed, colorful adventure.

The best part about claiming games through Prime Gaming is that they are yours to keep forever. They do not disappear if your Prime subscription lapses, and Amazon will not take them away later. Once you have claimed them, they stay in your library for good. That means if you are not currently subscribed to Prime, you could start a free trial, claim the games you want, and then let the subscription lapse. In theory, you would get all of these games for free. Of course, I would never recommend actually doing something like that, but the option is there if you want to be clever about it.

As a regular player, I see very little downside here. The October 2026 lineup covers shooters, RPGs, horror, platformers, puzzles, and even a few cult classics.
